In DNA Brasil, Grátis, Hot, Mad or What?, Made in Brasil, Participe!

Caipirinha is always muddled (crushed with a masher, pestle or the blunt end of a wooden spoon). Make sure to muddle in a shaker or a sturdy, non-breakable glass.

The classic Caipirinha is made with muddled limes, sugar, and un-aged cachaça, but possible variations are as wild as your imagination!
Avoiding sugar? You can substitute sugar with 1-2 packets of Splenda or Equal.

Here you have an exotic recipe:
STRAWBERRY & KIWI CAIPIRINHA
2 oz Cachaça
1/3 kiwi, peeled and chopped
3 medium strawberries, chopped
1-2 tbsp sugar or simple syrup
Place fruit and sugar in a non-breakable glass and muddle well. Add cachaça and a rocks glass full of ice, shake well. Serve in a large rocks, highball glass or strain into martini glass. Garnish with 1 slice of kiwi and 1 strawberry.
